Ceilidh Ann Halloran has been an Australian Board Registered Psychologist since 1991. She is a Founding Member of the Division of Counselling Psychologists of the Hong Kong Psychological Society, has served as President of the Psychotherapy Society of Hong Kong since 2009 and has practised as a Consultant Psychologist in Hong Kong since 2001.
Prior to becoming resident in Hong Kong in 1999, Ms. Halloran practiced as a Barrister-at-Law at the Bar of England and Wales.
Ms. Halloran has extensive post graduate training in Systemic Family therapy and Psycho Educational techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma related therapy. She provides specialized psychotherapy and coaching services to individuals, couples and families in relation to a wide range of psychological issues including, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, workplace difficulties and life management.
Ms. Halloran acts as an Expert Witness in the Family Court in Hong Kong. She is an accredited Collaborative Law Practitioner in the area of Mental Health in Hong Kong. Allied to this collaborative law practice, Ms. Halloran accepts referrals as a Parent Co-coordinator.
Ms. Halloran is a frequently invited speaker to various professional groups in both Hong Kong and Australia.
